Our Beat the Utility Plan is currently for businesses in New York’s Con Edison territory. However, stay tuned for future expansion!
The plug-in batteries are roughly the size of a large toaster oven. Each battery weighs about 50 pounds.
We will do an onsite assessment and make a custom recommendation based on your energy usage and location.
The batteries are extremely reliable and we have reviewed our batteries on a number of safety dimensions. The batteries are UL certified, utilize a safe battery chemistry, and we have licensed electricians on every installation. With our model, we guarantee functional batteries throughout the life of the contract.
We will work with you to place batteries in a location that does not disrupt operations. We’ve worked with various types of businesses and buildings to find the right location and often in space constrained locations.
Our goal is to help businesses save money on their electricity bill. With our plug-in battery solution, we reduce the power demand during expensive periods and split the savings with you. We make a small margin as your electricity supplier and you get lower bills!
Since every system is unique, we make custom recommendations for each location and we take care to ensure we aren't overloading any panels or wiring.
Upon completion of the contract, we simply unplug the battery and remove it from your site free of charge.
